Available Shift Patterns: 24/7 on a rotational basis

Wednesday 30th July - 8pm-9pm

Start Date: 6th September
The first 4 weeks of training will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
Position Overview:
We are seeking Associate Education Monitoring Analysts to provide human moderation support for our Smoothwall Monitor Managed Service. You will monitor students' online activities worldwide to identify safeguarding risks and liaise with Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) when necessary.
The role requires keen attention to detail, understanding of online culture among young people, and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
Core Responsibilities:
* Content Assessment: Monitor and evaluate keystrokes and screenshots, identify safeguarding risks, and alert DSLs/schools about critical issues such as suicide or illegal content.
* Timely Responses: Handle high content volumes efficiently, meet response times.
* Collaboration and Escalation: Review incidents with team, escalate complex or high-risk cases.
* Trend Feedback: Monitor and share emerging trends with the team.

* High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
* IT literacy, knowledge of social media, online games, apps popular among youth
* Understanding of online culture
* Decisiveness and quick judgment

Desirable:
* Web/content moderation experience
* Experience with vulnerable populations

This role involves moderating distressing content; welfare support is available. The position requires DBS checks; a criminal record does not automatically disqualify.
