Business Development Manager – Warner Howard (Tamworth)
The key purpose of the role
1. To identify, target and win new business from new customers.
2. Target large multi-sited end users to be fulfilled by our existing customers.
3. Target other hygiene companies that can resell our products.
4. Target cleaning and janitorial supplies companies that can resell our products.
Key Tasks
5. Building, maintaining and closing own pipeline.
6. Work with BDM’s and SD’s involved in project Unity to unearth cross selling opportunities in other Specialist Group customers.
7. Work with phs Direct/Mayflower to identify cross selling opportunities from existing washroom and hygiene supplies customers.
8. Manage time effectively to ensure you achieve maximum productivity, efficiency and revenue.
9. Exceed sales targets.
10. Understand customer needs and requirements to identify the opportunities to build a pipeline and close deals.
11. Maintain accurate records of all prospective customer communications.
12. Respond to customer enquiries efficiently and within timescales.
13. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills when talking to both existing and prospective customers, use appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to achieve objective and or business growth.
14. Embrace methods of working practice and development of a “can do, will do” approach.
15. Adopt best practices within the team, share and highlight areas where the team and our customers can benefit either through different ways of working or approaches.
Essential skills and Knowledge required.
16. Proven track record success in B2B sales.
17. Excellent communication and questioning skills.
18. Ability to demonstrate good business understanding and ability to engage at all levels in business.
19. Solid understanding of financial intricacies.
20. Advanced level of MS Office suite skills.

21. A competitive salary of £45,000.00 OTE £65,000.00
22. No weekend or evening working – great hours Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
