Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring PE lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
* Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices, meeting national standards.
* Assess and evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments.
* Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their skills and achieve their goals in PE.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom and sports environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
* Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, including sports clubs, events, and school competitions, to enhance students' PE experience.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to departmental goals, and engage in professional development opportunities.
* Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and school events.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3, KS4, KS5).
* Strong knowledge of physical education theory, practice, and sports.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activities and appreciate the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
