Teaching Assistant
Location: LE12, Leicestershire/Loughborough
Pay: £105 - £110 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term to permanent
About the Role
Long Term Futures is working with a specialist all-through school in the LE12 area that supports pupils aged 4 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school provides a calm, structured and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and positive routines.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is patient, proactive and ready to get involved in day-to-day school life. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships and helping young people who benefit from consistent support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide consistent 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs
Support emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement in learning
Help create a calm, safe and structured classroom environment
Encourage independence, confidence and social development
Support pupils with routines and transitions throughout the day
Who We're Looking For
