Print and Design Room Operator
Paterson (Scotland) is a small family-run business which has just celebrated its 40-year anniversary. It supplies quality merchandise to the golf industry and hospitality trade, by personalizing products for resale in golf clubs and corporate customers.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-orientated Print Room Operator to join our small team. As a print room operator, you will be responsible for the creation of artwork and ensuring high quality print and engraving on various products while meeting deadlines. Your role will involve:
· Transforming digital designs into tangible printed and engraved products.
· Operating and maintaining four printing and engraving machines and troubleshooting any issues as required.
· Print preparation and application for heat press.
· Monitoring production schedules and keeping on top of deadlines.
· Quality checking finished products to ensure accuracy and consistency.
· Routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
· Experience operating printing and engraving machines, e.g. Roland, HPC Laser, OKI, Mercury Engraver, UV Mimaki printer.
· Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment and production issues.
· Quick learner, with ability to follow tried and tested procedures.
· Strong attention to detail to ensure precise printing work.
· Good time-management skills to meet deadlines.
· Team player with a proactive attitude.
· Monday to Thursday 07.15 – 16.00hrs, Friday hrs
