Job Description
The Emergency Department Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment, promptly screening conditions, and determining appropriate treatment pathways. This is a crucial role within a department that serves approximately 14,000 patient visits annually.
Responsibilities
Perform initial assessments and screenings upon patient arrival.
Collaborate with medical teams to provide timely and effective patient care.
Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately.
Maintain compliance with protocols and emergency procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
2+ years of current emergency department experience in a hospital setting is required.
3 months of minimum travel experience preferred.
Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Current certifications including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS must be in hand at the time of application.
Valid Vermont nursing license required.
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this position.
