Band 7 Lead Gastroenterology Dietitian – Part‑time (0.7 WTE), fixed‑term vacancy.
Overview
You will be part of the Gastroenterology Dietetic team at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, working with a dynamic team of six gastro‑dietitians and a dietetic assistant. The role involves delivering specialist inpatient and outpatient nutritional care to adult gastroenterology patients, with a strong focus on the outpatient service.

Responsibilities
* Provide specialist clinical leadership for the gastroenterology dietetic service and manage a caseload of complex patients.
* Offer expert advice within the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
* Oversee service performance: monitor activity, outcomes, capacity and meet agreed performance indicators.
* Deliver clinical supervision to staff and students to support high‑quality practice and professional development.
* Undertake line management duties.
* Lead service improvement and pathway development projects to enhance patient care, efficiency and innovation across gastroenterology.
