We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client, a leading engineering and manufacturing company specializing in bespoke Research & Development (R&D). Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of new product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, and R&D, to deliver complex, bespoke solutions.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk management strategies.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify project goals and requirements.
* Manage project risks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth communication across all teams.
* Deliver progress reports and presentations to senior management and clients.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in engineering, manufacturing, or R&D sectors, with a focus on new product development.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
* Experience with bespoke or specialist products is highly advantageous.
* A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field would be preferred.
