Overview

Permanent role, 37 hours per week. £30,000 to £45,000 (Full time equivalent) dependent on experience. Hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office in Halifax and/or Leeds West Yorkshire (HX2 & LS11).

Role

School Partnership Manager (Permanent, 37 hours per week). The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to expand access to White Rose Education's world-class educational resources.


Responsibilities

* Expand White Rose Education's reach by ensuring schools have access to our educational resources.
* Actively build relationships with schools worldwide, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to enhance their educational offerings.
* Work as part of a team to drive growth and impact in the education sector.


Key accountabilities

* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential schools and educational institutions; develop and implement sales strategies to generate new business leads.
* Sales and Account Management: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to school administrators and decision-makers; manage and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
* Product Knowledge and Training: Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services and provide training and support to schools on effective use of resources.
* Negotiation and Closing: Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales to meet targets.


Requirements and profile

The role would suit a teacher or ex-teacher expanding their skill set, someone with sales or marketing experience, or someone with relevant customer service experience looking to enter the education sector. We are looking for a self-motivated team player with good problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities with tact and discretion.

Qualifications and experience

Essential

* Experience of working in a team and dealing with people
* Experience of prioritising workload
* Experience in dealing directly with customers

Desirable

* Proven experience in sales, preferably in the education sector
* Strong understanding of the educational landscape and the needs of schools


Skills and personal attributes

Essential

* Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets
* Ability to build strong working relationships as part of a team
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Computer literate — Excel, Word & Windows OS
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Strong decision making and problem solving skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Seek advice and support when necessary

Desirable

* Willingness to develop own understanding and capability through advice and training
* Creative problem-solving skills


Communication and management

Essential

* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

Self-Management

* Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
* Strong organizational and time-management skills

Leadership and management

* Competence in providing regular sales reports and forecasts to management
