Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed mechanical inspections of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
* Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to verify product dimensions.
* Perform quality inspections during the production process to adhere to industry standards and customer requirements.
* Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarise rework and waste; input production data into quality databases.
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment for accuracy and reliability.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.
