Multi Trade Operative – Truro
We are working with a busy client to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Operative who will provide a maintenance service on MOD properties in Cornwall, mainly between Newquay and Helston.
You will be dealing with customers, making them feel at ease and providing a top trades service fixing repairs to the correct standard.
Salary when you go onto a permanent contract will be £34,000 per annum van, fuel card and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
You will start this role on a temp basis being paid through us for 13 weeks then move into a permanent on the books role direct.
Multiskilled Operative Day to Day:
1. Going to various properties to carry out minor responsive repairs and maintenance work on MOD properties
2. All aspects of maintenance work
3. Completing a variety of works in various trades
4. Tiling, carpentry, minor plumbing, decorating etc.
5. Driving a company van safely
6. Reporting to your Supervisor
7. On call rota – 1 week in 6 – paid extra
Multiskilled Operative Requirements:
8. Good multi-trade experience
9. Good attitude
10. Honest and reliable
11. Qualification in a trade would be advantageous
12. DBS check and security check will be carried out
