Location: This is a remote-working position, although hybrid working is negotiable in the United Kingdom

Start date: 1 March 2026

Salary: $68,697-$75,692 base salary, plus benefits

About the role:

The Product Manager: ParentApp will translate complex programme, user, and research requirements into clear technical and functional specifications for ParentApp deployments. You will support the senior product manager, engineering team, country scaling teams, researchers, and content developers to ensure the product remains user-centred, engaging, evidence-driven, and technically sound. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning systems, ideas, and user needs into structured solutions—and who is excited about improving digital support for parents around the world.

Responsibilities:

Requirements & Specification Development

* Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and technical requirements
* Translate programme needs, user insights, and research evidence into clear product specifications
* Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflow diagrams for new features

Data & Insight Analysis

* Monitor and analyse user engagement data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
* Support the development and interpretation of dashboards for programme and product teams
* Work with research teams to integrate evaluation findings into product decisions.

Process Mapping & Systems Support

* Map and optimise ParentApp processes across content, development, implementation, and localisation workflows
* Support data flows between ParentApp and external systems (e.g., partner reporting systems)
* Maintain documentation of system architecture, integrations, and release notes

Quality Assurance & Testing

* Develop test plans and conduct QA for new features, updates, and country-specific adaptations
* Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues, and work with engineers to resolve them
* Ensure product releases meet quality and accessibility standards across contexts

Stakeholder Coordination

* Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Chief Scaling and Innovation Officer to prioritise enhancements and plan releases
* Collaborate with country teams to gather requirements and understand implementation needs
* Communicate technical concepts in clear, accessible language to non-technical teams

Support for Implementation & Localisation

* Assist with localisation processes for new countries, ensuring content, data, and feature adaptations match requirements
* Maintain organised documentation for deployments, configurations, and adaptations
* Provide support during country launches and troubleshoot issues as needed

Essential criteria:

* Master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelors plus eight years’ experience) in computer science, public health, international development, child and family psychology, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in product management, digital programme management, or a related role
* Experience working with mobile apps, digital learning platforms, or behavioural-change products
* Strong skills in user-centred design, prototyping, and iterative development
* Commitment to PLH's core values and organisational culture
* English, written and spoken with a high level of proficiency
* Ability to use standard project administration applications (Google Drive, GitHub, Figma, Monday.com)

Preferred criteria:

* Commitment to PLH’s mission.
* Demonstrable personal success working with early-stage organisations, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-partner team
* High level of proficiency in at least one language other than English
