Skills Required
* Prospecting and Lead Generation
o Conduct in-depth market research to identify prospect clients who are looking to buy Microsoft Solutions.
o Leverage extensive networks and contacts to effectively communicate Bytes' value proposition and offerings.
o Drive lead generation through channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and strategic use of social platforms like LinkedIn.
o Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize inbound lead generation strategies and capitalize on marketing-generated opportunities.
* Client Engagement
o Cultivate and build strong, trust-based relationships with prospective clients, demonstrating empathy for their business challenges.
o Conduct thorough client needs assessments to uncover pain points and Microsoft requirements, positioning Bytes as a strategic partner.
o Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to deal closure, ensuring a seamless client experience.
o Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Microsoft products and services, showcasing relevance and value.
* Solution Selling
o Introduce and develop tailored Microsoft solutions aligned with client objectives, leveraging Bytes' teams with industry knowledge and technical expertise.
o Collaborate with technical teams to craft comprehensive proposals that address client requirements.
o Articulate the unique value proposition of Bytes' Microsoft solutions, highlighting tangible benefits and competitive advantages.
* Sales Negotiation and Closing
o Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns and objections to secure favorable outcomes.
o Work with legal teams to finalize contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance and safeguarding organizational interests.
o Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Pipeline Management
o Maintain an organized and updated sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial contact to final resolution.
o Provide regular, detailed reports on sales activities and forecasts.
o Utilize CRM tools and analytics to monitor client interactions, identify trends, and optimize pipeline efficiency.
* Market Intelligence
o Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies.
o Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights.
* Strong Management of Virtual Team
o Foster and sustain strong relationships with Microsoft specialists and pre-sales teams to support the sales process and enhance customer value.
Qualifications
* 2+ Years Experience for an IT Value Added Reseller, Distributor, or Vendor: Experience in IT industry roles related to value-added reselling, distribution, or vendor operations is advantageous.
* 2 Years successful sales experience – proven results-driven selling with track record of meeting targets and KPIs.
* Reading (Preferred) or Leatherhead Based – 5 Days: Hybrid policy; up to 1 day remote after onboarding success. Remaining time split between client meetings and Reading/Leatherhead offices. Office presence is essential for collaboration.
* Proven Success in a Sales Role: Track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills: Clear and compelling verbal and written communication with strong presentation abilities.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
