An opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team at Birch Veterinary Centre on a permanent basis. The role is a mix of consulting and operating/procedures. We have a range of demographics forming our growing client base, with many insured clients or just those wanting the best for their pets, allowing comprehensive medical workups and extensive soft tissue & orthopaedic surgeries.

A typical full-time role would involve working 40 hours per week, including a 1pm finish, 4pm finish with the weekend rota being 2 in 5, 1 week finishing at 1pm and the other 2pm.

About us

We are a busy first opinion 3 practice group based within Cheshire. Our main premises in Oxton in well-established and has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 100 years with many clients having been here more than 40 years. We have 4 consult rooms and one nurse consult room. We have 2 theatres and one dental suite with recently installed dental x-ray and have recently also upgraded our X-Ray to digital x-ray and access to vet VT also. We have our own in-house lab including Idexx, Lasercyte catalyst, multiparameter anaesthetic monitors, plus an extensive range of soft tissue and orthopaedic equipment. We also have 2 other smaller sites that are consulting only however are fully equipped for routines appointments.

Liverpool is only 10 minutes train or drive for some culture, shopping, or just a night out.
