Your new firm\nOur client is a well-established regional law firm known for high quality work, a client-focused and inclusive culture, and strong recognition in the legal directories. We're seeking an experienced Solicitor or Associate, to join their Succession & Tax team who are based in their Bath office. This exciting opportunity can be based in Bath or Bristol, with opportunities to work closely with Partners and fee earners at their other offices. You'll be joining our busy and dedicated team to look after existing clients, and supporting with business development activities across the Bath region, to drive delivery of their growth strategy. The Private Client team has a significant regional presence and supports a diverse client base.\n\nYour new role\nDay to day, you will have a varied caseload, including:\n\nProviding tax and estate planning advice to a broad range of clients, including high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients\nWorking closely with a range of clients including farmers and business owners on succession planning\nManaging complex probate and estate administration matters\nAdvising on creation, restructuring and winding up of trusts\nProviding advice on Enduring and Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as Court of Protection matters.\n\nWhat you'll need to succeed\nYou'll be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX with relevant experience including:\nTax and estate planning, advising a broad range of clients including knowledge of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients\nAssisting with many complex probate and estate administration matters including: creation, restructuring and winding up of trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, as well as Court of Protection matters\nExemplary client service skills and the ability to understand and meet the needs of our clients\nAbility to work alongside other teams in a holistic approach to meet the client's needs\nGood communication skills and ability to support and supervise junior members of staff\n\nWhat you'll get in return\nYou will be joining a forward-thinking and supportive firm that offers high-quality work, genuine scope for development and a collaborative culture built on trust and flexibility.
