Part Time Management Accountant – Goole – up to £32,000 FTE

Management Accountant responsibilities include:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
Provide detailed analysis on company performance, identifying trends, and giving actionable insights to the leadership team
Budgeting and forecasting to support strategic planning
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors
Manage cash flow and ensuring the financial health of the business
Collaborate with operational teams to provide financial insights and drive cost efficiencies
Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
Support the Managing Director with ad-hoc projects and financial analysis
The right candidate?
Previous experience working in a similar varied management accounts role essential
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships
Must be IT literate including Excel and Sage 200
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
