Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Internal Sales professional to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based at our location in Rutherglen, this role plays a vital part in supporting our customers and driving sales growth by offering expert advice and excellent service.
Responsibilities
* Assist customers with product selection and provide detailed information about our range of timber and building materials.
* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product offerings and industry trends.
* Support the sales team in achieving targets through proactive customer engagement.
* Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
* Have the ability to work between both the busy trade counter and the sales office
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
* Contribute to maintaining a well-organized and welcoming sales environment.

* Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales or customer service within the building materials or DIY industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong knowledge of timber, sheets, joinery or related building products is essential.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer service.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm & every second Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
