Second in Command (2IC) of SAAE. 2IC is the School’s Chief of Staff responsible for the day to day management and coordination of SAAE's non-training delivery activities. 2IC is required to deputise for the Chief Instructor (CI) in their absence. Responsibilities: 1. Administrative and Personnel management of all military personnel. 2. Deputising for the CI in their absence. 3. Responsible for developing and maintaing the School’s Capability Development strategy. 4. Care and Welfare lead within SAAE, ensuring that all associated School policies and activities are aligned with those of 8 Trg Bn REME. 5. Responsible for Risk Management across the School. 6. Unit Security Officer. 7. School Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) lead. 8. Responsible for any additional tasks delegated by the CoC.
