Your role as an Analytics Engineer will require you to draw on your technicalexpertiseand experience to draw together our customer contact data, developing MI and insight to articulate both the customer and colleague experience with a view tofacilitatingor initiating change.
With an eye for detail and a natural curiosity, you will use your technicalexpertisetogood effect, proactivelyidentifyingopportunities through your analytical assessment of the data, in doing so you willidentifycontinuous improvement opportunities across all segments of our contact centre estate.
You will work in collaboration with your peer group across UK Insurance Operations to understand the customer demand and productivity requirements of the contact centre, delivering a closed loop reporting mode that will enable effective decision making.
A confident communicator, you will enjoy presenting your analysis to your stakeholders whorepresentdifferent functionsandoperateat varying levels throughout the business. As a result, this is ahigh profilerole that will give you an opportunity to work with a wide cross section of the Bupa UK population.
Howyou’llhelp us make health happen:
1. You will have a sophisticated approach to your communication with your stakeholders that enables you to gather technical requirements effectively from people who are often not technical experts, often this will take the form of coaching,in order tofacilitatethe outcomerequired.
2. Your outputs will take the form of effective dashboards and insight packs, and the delivery of the associated insight led analysis. You will have a technical subject matterexpertisethat allows you to access and transform the data from our data warehouse, transforming it to inform our understanding of our customer or our people journeys.
3. You will work as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team and will build strong relationships with your colleagues in the Operations Hub and Customer Contact teams to ensure wemaintainthe integrity of our core data set.
4. You will take ownership for delivering analysis assigned to you by your manager ina timelyfashion, highlighting any risks asappropriate.
5. You will utilise your experience of Contact Centres and the associated technology to competentlyrepresentyour team on various projects, acting as a subject matter expert to offer advice and guidance.
6. You will coach your peers in data teams across the business, sharing yourwell definedtechnical skillsetin order togrow our wider capability.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
7. A confident communicator, you willcomfortabledelivering your analysis to people at all levels within our organisation.
8. A strong technical skillset, you will enjoy working with large sets of complex data, you are confident with the tools used to manipulate that data, like SQL in Snowflake and DAX in Power BI.
9. Happy to challenge existing processes to support continuous improvement.
10. You have experience of ETL activity ideally gained in a customer contact environment
11. You have a good understanding of customer contact technology
12. You take ownership for your own development, keeping up to date with new products and data management techniques
