About the Role
Our client is an established provider of high-quality adult social care services. They are part of a 7-year local authority framework in Bristol, delivering ๐Ÿ  domiciliary care, ๐Ÿ‘ฅ day centre support, and ๐Ÿข extra care services. With council-backed referrals, a stable contract, and a small committed team, theyโ€™re ready to re-open their Bristol branch under the leadership of a motivated Registered Manager. This is a rare opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role and shape a service with high demand and strong growth potential.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Key Responsibilities
โœ… Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance โœ… Review handovers, alerts & overnight reports โœ… Manage rotas and resolve staff attendance issues โœ… Conduct assessments and care plan reviews โœ… Lead safeguarding responses and incident follow-ups โœ… Liaise with families, GPs, commissioners, and MDTs โœ… Complete audits: care notes, MARs, visit logs, staff files โœ… Support recruitment, training, spot checks & supervisions โœ… Prepare for inspections (CQC & local authority) โœ… Launch and manage a brand-new Day Care Centre โœ… Drive branch growth in line with local authority referrals

๐Ÿ’ท Competitive salary: ยฃ40,000 โ€“ ยฃ42,000 ๐Ÿ“˜ Structured induction for Registered Managers ๐Ÿ“š Full mandatory training (safeguarding, meds, manual handling, etc.) ๐ŸŽ“ Support to complete Level 5 Diploma (if not already held) ๐Ÿง  Access to CPD workshops, courses & regulatory updates ๐Ÿ’ฌ Leadership coaching or mentorship ๐Ÿš€ Opportunity to grow a council-backed service from the ground up

๐Ÿ” Ideal Candidate
โœ”๏ธ Already registered with CQC as a Registered Manager (or previously held the role) โœ”๏ธ Experienced Deputy Managers ready to step up welcome to apply โœ”๏ธ Hold a Level 3 or higher Health & Social Care qualification (Level 5 preferred or willingness to work towards it) โœ”๏ธ Solid experience in domiciliary, day services, or community care โœ”๏ธ Confident with audits, safeguarding, staff management, and compliance โœ”๏ธ Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills โœ”๏ธ Committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
