A Personal Support Assistant is required for 7 hours per week to support an intelligent gentleman who has mental health issues.
The role involves supporting correspondence, meal preparation, and driving the gentleman to Walking Football sessions in Malton on Fridays.
Responsibilities
* Manage and respond to correspondence.
* Prepare meals.
* Transport the gentleman to Walking Football activities in Malton on Fridays.
Qualifications
* Must be a car driver with a valid driving licence (mileage will be paid).
* Must hold or be able to obtain a DBS check.
* Preferred: Minimum 2 years experience in mental health support.
* Preferred: Driving licence.
* Applicant must live in the Kirkbymoorside, Pickering or Helmsley area.
Employment Details
Pay rate: £15.65 per hour (subject to increase).
Hours: 7 hours per week, including Fridays for Walking Football; remaining hours to be mutually agreed.
Part-time, permanent position.
