Production Operative – Irlam People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Irlam. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 08:30 – 16:30 Rates of Pay • £12.70 per hour Benefits Your benefits as a Production Operative will include: • Weekly pay • No weekend work • Overtime available • On-site parking Day-to-Day Duties As a Production Operative, your duties will include (but not be limited to): • Accurately picking and packing goods for dispatch • Completing documentation and paperwork accurately • Using barcode scanners and basic IT systems • Supporting the production team when required • Assembling washroom products including furniture, plumbing components, and light electrical assemblies • Using hand tools and equipment safely and correctly • Carrying out basic quality checks on completed products • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the work area • Following all company procedures and health & safety guidelines • Working overtime during busy periods when required Essential Skills To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need: • Reliability and punctuality • Good communication skills • Ability to work well as part of a team • A positive and proactive attitude • Comfortable with hands-on, physical work • Ability to follow instructions and work to set standards • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Willingness to learn and carry out a variety of tasks Desirable Experience • Experience in assembly, joinery, plumbing, or basic electrical work • Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment • Forklift licence (beneficial but not essential) Training Provided • Full industry-related training provided • Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Production Operative, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
