* Establish and maintain strong program governance, including robust planning, tracking, KPI reporting, and risk management across the full portfolio. Provide a single, reliable source of truth for program status, covering schedule, cost, quality, resourcing, and risk, and regularly communicate comprehensive program updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Ensure smooth and effective transition of products from development into volume manufacturing.
* Drive NPI activities and programme ramp‑up in close collaboration with Supply Chain and manufacturing teams, ensuring smooth and effective transition of products from development into high‑volume manufacturing. Proactively manage demand versus capacity to support the product roadmap and customer delivery commitments.
* Provide leadership across a global, multi‑site delivery organisation, optimising team structures, assignments, and ways of working to leverage time‑zone and language advantages across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration, autonomy, and accountability to consistently deliver complex, multi‑customer programmes at scale.

Customer & Commercial Engagement

* Develop trusted, long‑term technical relationships with customers.
* Understand customer requirements, expectations, and long‑term strategies.
* Provide senior technical input into RFx and new business opportunities.
* Partner with Commercial teams to cultivate and deliver new business.

Leadership & Organisation

* Provide leadership, direction, and motivation for a global, multi‑site delivery organisation.
* Manage and develop programme owners across all sites.
* Ensure appropriate resourcing and capability to execute the roadmap.
* Build organisational capability through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
* Deputise for the SVP of Engineering when required.

Quality, Reputation & Governance

* Ensure consistent delivery of high‑quality products and on‑time programmes.
* Maintain and strengthen the company’s reputation for technical excellence and innovation.
* Support and manage elements of the engineering budget.

Measures of Success

* On‑time, on quality, on cost delivery of complex, multi‑product customer solutions.
* Successful transition of products into high‑volume manufacturing.

* Proven track record of delivering multi‑platform, multi‑customer solutions through development and New Product Introduction (NPI), achieving on‑time, on‑quality, and on‑cost outcomes.
* Deep experience leading and integrating global R&D organisations, spanning software, hardware, test, and quality, across multiple geographies and time zones.
* Strong understanding of product development life‑cycles, programme governance, risk management, and portfolio‑level delivery management.
* Experience driving effective transition from development into high‑volume manufacturing, in close collaboration with Supply Chain and manufacturing partners.
* Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with customers, product management, and commercial teams, including senior‑level contribution to RFx and new business opportunities.
* Solid financial and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, programme costs, and resource planning at product and departmental level.
* Strong technical foundation with relevant qualifications, enabling effective leadership of complex engineering organisations.
* Experience in broadband and/or digital TV environments is highly desirable.

Preferred Capabilities
