Amazing Grace is a vibrant live music venue, bar, and restaurant bringing together world-class entertainment, exceptional drinks, and warm hospitality. Following the success of our London Bridge venue, we are excited to launch our new home in Canary Wharf – a dynamic space featuring multiple bars, live performances, and unforgettable guest experiences.
We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, inspire our team, and deliver excellence in every service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service
* Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple bars across the venue.
* Ensure consistently high standards of service, product quality, and guest experience.
* Manage bar stock, ordering, and supplier relationships, ensuring cost control and minimal wastage.
* Lead by example on the floor, supporting the team during peak service.
Team Leadership
* Recruit, train, and motivate bartenders, barbacks, and supervisors.
* Create rotas to ensure effective staffing levels across all bars.
* Develop the team's product knowledge and service skills through ongoing training.
* Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive team culture.
Financial & Compliance
* Work with the General Manager to meet and exceed sales and profitability targets.
* Monitor bar margins, stock levels, and GP performance.
* Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and company policies.
Innovation & Development
* Support in creating seasonal cocktail menus and drinks promotions.
* Keep up to date with industry trends to bring fresh ideas to the venue.
* Champion sustainability initiatives in bar operations.
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Bar Manager
* Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a team.
* Organised, financially astute, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* A genuine passion for hospitality, guest experience, and live music culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £38,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
