Operations Manager
Salary up to £70,000P/A + Package

Full Time, permanent position.
Are you an experienced Operations Manager within the Pump Services industry? Do you have experience running your own branch? Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting an Operations Manager to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to manage the safe, efficient planning, delivery and commercial performance of all jobs through engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage the safe, environmental and quality of engineer and warehouse operations to meet or exceed the company standards.
Performance management of direct reports and engineers. Ensure the timely procurement and equipment supply meets agreed customer delivery dates and contribute to the Management Team and efficient management of AP and the Group.
In return, our client is offering a salary of £70,000P/A depending on experience + bonus.
Responsibilities
* Leadership of the Operations function.
* Keep a close oversight of all Operational KPIs including Engineer Productivity; Job GM actual vs planned; WIP review; Reactive SLAs; Operational HS&E targets; People targets; and Customer Service (portals etc.).
* Ensure all jobs are planned, scheduled and reactively rescheduled and that all documentation, required equipment and materials are available.
* Drive GM and commercial performance to meet or exceed targets.
* Embed operational best practice and develop clear processes to manage Operations and ensure its transference across the team and Group.
* Close liaison with the PPM and Reactive/Remedial scheduling.
* Close liaison with the ME PPM scheduling team on Metcor PPM jobs that require pump maintenance.
* Review and encourage Health and Safety (HS&E) performance excellence, use of and continuous improvement of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) and that all engineers and equipment are certified and compliant.
* Review Operations and collaborate with key stakeholders, Sales, Estimating and Procurement to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
* Greater than 5 years' experience managing remote engineering maintenance and installation teams.
* Experience in FM, drainage, wastewater, mechanical industry, particularly in relation to pumps and associated plant and equipment.
* Positive people management skills, especially at an engineer's level.
* Experience driving commercial results and process improvement using systems to deliver Operational Excellence.
* Experienced in managing effective planning and scheduling processes within a PPM, Reactive and Projects environment.
* Technical knowledge of the pump industry to support Engineer technical queries.
