First Task Professional is delighted to be working with a key client to help recruit an Assistant Site Manager for their business. The company is a well regarded civil engineering and groundworks contractor, and delivers a variety of projects up to the value of £5m. They have recently secured a sizeable project on the outskirts of Edinburgh and are looking for this role to help support the project manager with day-to-day duties such as: * Daily site supervision * Quality control and assurance – record keeping. * H&S compliance – RAMS, TBT’s, daily briefings etc * Working closely with the main contractor – Daily permits, QA etc * Working as part of a team both up and down the chain. Ideally, you will be a recent university or college graduate from either an engineering or construction management course, have strong IT skills and strong communication skills.
