About the Role
This role is largely a site-based role out of Keynsham. Flexible working patterns are available.
We have an exciting opportunity to ensure the delivery of our s38 and s278 highway works for extensive walking and cycling routes, estate roads as well as the accesses to our new communities, making sure new developer‑led infrastructure is delivered to a high standard.
The role sits within a wider Highway Agreements team reviewing technical approvals with the support of specialists such as our signals engineer and lighting engineer in Highways undertaking joint inspections. The role is expected to continue and strengthen our existing joint working arrangements.
About You
You will be the engineer’s eyes and ears on the ground ensuring highway works are carried out to specification, so attention to detail and engineering knowledge are key. The role is ideally suited to someone with a practical background in highway works or as a first step into a career in highway engineering. A driving licence is essential for this role.
