Your Role
As a PCO, you’ll work collaboratively to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees. Your focus will be on maintaining their physical and mental wellbeing throughout court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Escort defendants to and from courtrooms, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Monitor and supervise detainees during court sessions, maintaining security.
* Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
* Support detainees emotionally while managing your own wellbeing.
* Ensure detainees have access to food and drink, catering to dietary needs.
* Monitor the health of detainees and report any concerns.
* Maintain court safety, responding to incidents and conducting searches.
* Complete necessary paperwork accurately, logging movements and incidents.
* Collaborate with court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds. What matters most is your commitment to making a difference. You’ll receive comprehensive training over 5.5 weeks, so prior experience isn’t necessary. However, the following will help:
* A valid driver's license.
* Good physical fitness and strong communication skills.
* A high level of responsibility and professionalism.
* An interest in criminology or psychology is a plus!

Additional Information
