Contract: Fixed Term until 18th December 2026 (Maternity Cover)
Hours: 28.8 hours per week (Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays + one other day of your choice)
Salary: Actual £26,742 - £37,294

A leading Further Education College in Uxbridge is seeking a Sports Lecturer to join their dynamic Sport & Fitness team on a part-time, fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise and enthusiasm to a department offering a range of successful BTEC Sport programmes from Level 1 to Level 3.
The Role
You’ll plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across vocational Sport courses, supporting students aged 16–19 to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Working within a collaborative and supportive department, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the college’s strong reputation for quality teaching and student achievement.
About You
1. Hold a degree in Sport or a related discipline.
2. Ideally possess a Level 5 teaching qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE or equivalent) or willing to work towards.
3. Have experience teaching vocational Sport qualifications, particularly BTEC programmes.
4. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage young learners.
