Ideal for engineers eager to grow or experienced professionals ready to make an impact. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll drive efficient tooling solutions for advanced manufacturing. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop mould tools from concept to production, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. * Support legacy tooling through maintenance, repairs, and process improvements. * Utilize 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and analytical tools for robust tool design. * Conduct process verification, capability studies, and SPC analysis to optimize production. * Manage tooling asset registers, audits, and capex investments. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to meet project goals. * Support production uptime via preventative maintenance and structured problem-solving. * Stay updated on new technologies, materials, and Six Sigma methodologies. What We’re Looking For * Degree, HNC, HND, or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related technical discipline. * Experience in mould tool design and manufacturing processes. * Strong hands-on skills, analytical tool design experience, and proficiency in 3D CAD. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams. * Desirable: SolidWorks experience, CAE/FEA knowledge, or prototyping skills.
