Are you a passionate Primary-trained teacher looking for a unique opportunity to make a difference in a specialist setting?
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing teacher to join our Integrated Resource (IR) Unit within a vibrant and inclusive Secondary School in Sheffield. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity for a Primary-trained professional to deliver the Key Stage 1 curriculum to a small group of pupils with additional needs, within a specialist provision.
About the Role
You will work within our well-established IR Unit, supporting students who require a more personalised, structured learning environment. Though based in a Secondary setting, the pupils are working at a KS1 level, and your Primary expertise will be vital in shaping their learning journey. You’ll plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons, promote positive behaviour, and work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external agencies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Primary training
* Experience or strong interest in working with pupils with SEND (particularly those with ASC, SEMH, or complex needs)
* A compassionate, flexible, and resilient approach
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* A commitment to inclusive practice and personalised learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
