Our global client which consists of a group of companies has a great opportunity in one of their businesses related to the construction industry. They are expanding their marketing department and require a Marketing Assistant to support their Marketing Manager with the day to day marketing functions. This role is working in small, dynamic and friendly team, this office based role will be working in modern offices with a lovely wider team of people and has the opportunity to develop further marketing skills.
Job Description for the Marketing Assistant role:
1. To support the development and distribution of email campaigns, newsletters, and blog content
2. Assist in the planning, coordination, and production of marketing literature for promotional events, including conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows
3. Manage social media channels, overseeing content creation and audience engagement
4. To track and analyse marketing campaign performance, using insights to optimise future initiatives
5. Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
6. To work closely with internal teams to deliver cohesive and effective communication strategies
7. Design and produce print marketing collateral using InDesign.
8. Conducted detailed competitor analysis across target geographical markets
9. Support website adaptations
10. Ordering and procurement of marketing merchandise.
Candidate Requirements for the Marketing Assistant role:
11. A degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred, but not essential
12. At least 2 years’ experience working in a marketing role
13. A strong overall skill set, particularly in Microsoft Office, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms
14. Proficient across the full Adobe Creative Suite to support the creation of brochures, flyers, and image edits
15. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
16. Confident using a wide range of social media channels
17. A good understanding of Google tools and SEO principles
18. A creative mindset with fresh ideas and a keen eye for detail
19. Able to work both independently and collaboratively, manage deadlines, and perform well under pressure
20. To be able to attend events and possibly an overnight stay, should it be required
This role is commutable from: Stafford, Stone, Trentham, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Market Drayton, Newport, Uttoxeter
This role would suit candidates with the following experience: Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Associate, Marketing Specialist
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 Per Annum
