Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client, who are seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join their team in Hull on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a dynamic Payroll and Benefits expert who wants to make their own mark on a newly created role. My client is a growing player in their industry, boasting very competitive benefits and known for their investment in their staff.
Job Description
3. Ensuring the effective deployment of recognition, reward, and benefit schemes, establishing clear end-to-end administration processes
4. Managing and enhancing employee benefits programs, including flexible benefits, pensions, health plans, and other perks, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with the overall reward strategy
5. Overseeing the complete payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing
6. Balancing and reconciling monthly payrolls, ensuring correct calculation of deductions, bonuses, and overtime
7. Leading and managing the Payroll team, serving as the primary point of escalation for complex queries
The Successful Applicant
8. Have gained relevant experience in a similar Payroll and Benefits position
9. Certification in payroll (CPP) or benefits (CEBS) is preferred but not essential
10. Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, GDPR regulations, HMRC and Pension Regulator legislation
11. Strong communication skills
12. High motivation and drive
What's on Offer
13. Generous salary range £60,000 -£65,000
14. Bonus up to 10% dependent on company/team performance
15. Hybrid working (2 days on site, 3 days at home)
