If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as a Customer Experience Assistant (FTC June - September) Be part of the movement – and play your part. About the role As a Customer Experience Assistant, you play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests throughout their journey with DFDS. You are a visible and approachable ambassador for excellent service, ensuring our customers feel valued and well cared for. Working closely with teams onboard and ashore, your role involves supporting customer initiatives, managing on-the-ground activities, and actively seeking ways to enhance every touchpoint of the customer journey — from port arrival to post-travel feedback. This role will be offered as Fixed Term contract from June - September. working between the hours of Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00. You will be responsible for Acting as a first point of contact for guests, assisting with queries and providing support during peak travel times, particularly in assembly lanes across BUC channel ports. Coordinating and executing customer experience events and activities, ensuring smooth logistics and high guest engagement. Collaborating with onboard and port teams to enhance offerings for junior guests and pet travellers, tailoring experiences to seasonal needs. Monitoring and responding to customer experience inboxes, ensuring timely and professional communication with both internal teams and external customers. Collecting customer feedback through surveys and interviews, using iPads to gather insights and assist in resolving any emerging issues swiftly and effectively. About you You’re energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for every guest. A confident and natural communicator, you're at ease engaging with families, children, and customers from all walks of life. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are always ready to roll up your sleeves—whether it’s supporting events, solving problems on the spot, or stepping in at different locations when needed. Organisation and attention to detail come naturally to you, and you’re comfortable balancing schedules, admin tasks, and logistics without losing sight of the bigger picture. You're a true team player who enjoys collaborating across departments, both onboard and ashore, and you stay calm and collected even during the busiest travel periods. Creative and enthusiastic, you bring fresh ideas to the table—especially when it comes to engaging our junior guests and enhancing themed activities.
