Consumer Duty Document Reviewer - 12 month FTC, Manchester

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for 5 Underwriting Document Reviewers to join us on a 12-month FTC working on our Consumer Duty Communications Project Team.
Working with the Schemes & Delegated Authority (SDA) team, you'll help deliver the SDA Consumer Duty implementation strategy by reviewing and improving Delegated Authority Documentation to enhance customer understanding and mitigate harm. Your focus will be on delivering excellent customer outcomes through documentation aligned with regulatory and customer needs, while maintaining strong partner relationships.

What you’ll be doing:
* Review existing standard and bespoke product documentation to improve clarity and customer understanding.
* Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
* Apply deep understanding of requirements into practical improvements.
* Work autonomously to meet project milestones.
* Model integrity, resilience, collaboration, and enthusiasm.
* Foster a positive culture and demonstrate best practices.
* Build strong relationships internally and externally to support SDA strategy execution.
* Provide first-class service to stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead change initiatives.

Your Profile
What we’re looking for:
* Experience analyzing, interpreting, and drafting complex policy documentation.
* Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulatory requirements and ability to implement necessary changes.
* Understanding of the commercial insurance market, including legislative and regulatory aspects.
* Pragmatic decision-making skills and experience in technical underwriting within a commercial context.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong proofreading and literacy skills.
* Ability to work efficiently with a mindset for continuous improvement.
Pre-employment, candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role is subject to background screening under the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) regime, including screening every 4 years.
