An award winning video production agency based in the York / Leeds region is seeking an experienced Senior Video Editor to join its expanding creative team. The company produces high quality, engaging video content across a broad range of sectors including corporate, charity, education, and brand storytelling.

The Role
The Senior Video Editor will take creative ownership of post-production projects, crafting compelling visual stories that engage and inspire audiences. Working closely with producers, videographers, and animators, this role requires both technical excellence and a refined storytelling sensibility.
The successful candidate will be comfortable leading the editing process from rough cut to delivery, mentoring junior editors, and maintaining high production standards across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead editing for a diverse range of commercial, corporate, and campaign projects
Interpret briefs and deliver high quality edits that meet creative and strategic objectives
Edit to an advanced standard using Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent NLE)
Apply colour grading, sound design, and final mix for broadcast and online delivery
Incorporate motion graphics and visual assets, After Effects experience preferred
Manage workflow, media organisation, and version control throughout post production
Liaise with clients and internal teams during review and feedback stages
Oversee delivery of assets for multiple platforms including web, social, and broadcast
Support and mentor junior and mid level editors
What you will bring:
Proven track record as a Senior Video Editor or experienced Editor ready to step up
A strong showreel demonstrating storytelling, pacing, and creative flair
Expert level skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
Excellent understanding of codecs, formats, and delivery specifications
Strong eye for detail, pacing, tone, and narrative structure
Confident communicator with the ability to present and justify creative decisions
Highly organised, self motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
