Job Title: Design Coordinator
Are you an experienced Design Coordinator within the construction sector looking for an exciting new challenge working on bespoke commercial and residential fit-out and refurbishment projects? Our clients are market leaders in revitalizing vacant spaces, enhancing productivity, and promoting well-being. Their process begins with workspace consulting, space planning, and design, culminating in consistently high-quality project delivery.
The Role
As a Design Coordinator, you will work on a range of office fit-outs, refurbishments, and office-to-residential conversions with project values up to £25 million, providing unique turnkey solutions.
Based in the Design team, you will collaborate closely with project teams including in-house planners, architects, and quantity surveyors to ensure excellent client outcomes and experiences. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire design process from initial concept to final delivery, guiding and supporting the design team throughout the project lifecycle. The office is located in Leeds; however, the role requires national travel to project sites.
Requirements
* 2-3 years of experience working for a construction main contractor
* Relevant Design or Architecture qualification or degree
* Valid UK Driving License
* Proven experience in coordinating design projects
* Strong understanding of design principles and processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
