🌟 KS1 Teaching Assistant – Start September 2025
Location: Woolton (L25)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary - potentially until the end of the academic year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 15:30pm
Milk Education is proud to be partnering with a welcoming primary school in Woolton (L25) seeking a compassionate and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child in Year 1 with Autism. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing learning environment.
🧠About the Role
This long-term position begins ASAP and runs through to the end of the autumn term. You’ll play a vital role in supporting the child’s academic and emotional development, helping them stay engaged and on task throughout the school day. You’ll also assist with preparing resources and creating a calm, inclusive atmosphere tailored to their individual needs.
💼 Key Responsibilities
* Foster inclusion and acceptance across the classroom
* Provide consistent, personalised support to meet the child’s unique learning needs
* Collaborate with the class teacher on lesson planning and adapt activities as needed
* Deliver targeted catch-up sessions to reinforce learning
* Prepare daily resources and maintain a structured, supportive routine
✅ What We’re Looking For
* Recent experience working with children or young people (within the last 2 years)
* A genuine passion for education and child development
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to follow teacher guidance and work collaboratively
* Reliability, punctuality, and a nurturing approach
