Overview
Search are supporting the recruitment of a Bookkeeper to join our client's Stirling office on a permanent basis with hybrid working. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll provide accounting support to key stakeholders.
Base pay range
£31,000 – £36,000, depending on experience

Responsibilities
* Act as main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
* Deliver financial analysis and reporting
* Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives
* Approve banking transactions in line with relevant regulations
* Prepare VAT returns
* Provide ad-hoc support to wider teams when required
* Supervise and support junior staff
Skills and experience you’ll ideally have
* Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant
* Experience in bookkeeping, management accounts preparation and year-end reporting
* IT proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel and Accounting software
* Knowledge of VAT, understanding of partial exemption would be advantageous
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
* Comfortable managing and effectively prioritising various tasks
