No formal teaching qualifications? No problem! This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in SEN education while receiving full training and ongoing support.
What You’ll Do:
* Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and personalised lessons.
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Collaborate closely with teaching and support staff to meet individual needs.
* Prepare and assist with classroom activities and resources.
* Encourage student independence and confidence.
About Our School:
* We serve students aged 11–18 with a diverse range of Additional Learning Needs.
* Small class sizes (typically no more than 10 students) ensure personalised attention.

What We’re Looking For:
* No formal qualifications required; experience with children or in similar roles is a plus.

* Willingness to learn and adapt.
* Ability to commute to Caerphilly and work school hours (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).

* Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration (we’ll help with this too).
* Two references from previous employers or relevant roles.
