Job Title: Analytical Scientist

Salary: £27,500 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Term: 6-month contract
SRG is working with a global business that has developed an innovative chemical process with applications across various industries. They are seeking an Analytical Scientist to join their team in Cheshire on a 6-month contract. The role involves providing analytical support to the development team, utilizing techniques like HPLC, NMR, GC, and wet chemistry analysis. Experience in method development is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct analytical testing supporting development using various techniques and instrumentation, including wet chemistry, NMR, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, LC-MS, etc.
2. Support the development team with analytical expertise.
3. Provide clear, accurate reports with well-documented and traceable data.
4. Assist in validating and documenting analytical methods.
5. Support the development of analytical methods to aid quality processes.
Minimum Requirements:
* BSc in Chemistry or a related field.
* Recent industrial experience in analysis using techniques such as wet chemistry, HPLC, NMR, GC, etc.
* Experience in method development or investigational analysis is a plus but not mandatory.
* Proactive, communicative, and team-oriented approach.
