Brook Street are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established national organisation for a Trainer to join their Workplace Training team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an engaging and confident Trainer to play a key role in delivering lifesaving and workplace safety training across a regional area.The RoleMonday to FridayFull time permanent positionHours: 8:00am- 5:30pmSalary on offer: £25,276Location: York, YO30Annual Leave: 33 days (including bank holidays)Pension SchemeMileage/Expenses: Travel costs reimbursed for delivering trainingEmployee Assistance ProgrammeProfessional Training & Qualifications: Ongoing development, including support to gain training/assessing qualificationsEmployee DiscountsAs a Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing a range of training courses to a high professional standard, ensuring compliance with awarding body requirements. While you will have an administrative base, the role involves regular travel to deliver training at various locations.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality, engaging training sessions in line with awarding body requirementsAssess learners and provide clear, constructive feedbackMaintain accurate course records and documentationSet up training venues and ensure a professional learning environmentCarry out risk assessments and adhere to health & safety guidelinesMaintain and manage training equipmentBuild strong relationships with learners and stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement and new training initiativesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and EnglishLevel 3 Certificate in Learning & Development (or equivalent)Assessing qualificationRelevant training qualifications (e.g. First Aid at Work, IOSH, NEBOSH)Proven experience delivering first aid and/or health & safety trainingExperience teaching, coaching or presenting to adult learnersStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage your own scheduleIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business useEnhanced DBS check requiredWillingness to travel extensively within your regionPhysically able to demonstrate CPR techniquesThis is more than just a training role - it's an opportunity to make a genuine impact, equipping people with the skills and confidence to save lives.If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the requirements above, apply today through Brook Street Recruitment Agency, send across your CV or call 0113 2438871.
