Position: Sous Chef
Our client, an established Bar/Restaurant group with locations near Padstow and Newquay, is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team in the Newquay Kitchen.
You should have a proven track record working with good, fresh local produce and be capable of effectively running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.
The operation spans two main floors and has a fantastic reputation for food, drinks, and stunning views of one of Newquay’s most beautiful beaches.
Ideal candidates will have experience working in high-volume environments, be able to work under pressure within a team, and demonstrate creativity and proactivity in the kitchen.
This is a permanent position offering great tips. Please note, there is no parking available. The role is year-round, with an expected 3 weeks off in January.
Meals are included, and chefs' whites are provided.
The site is newly refurbished, equipped with new kitchen equipment, and led by a very experienced Head Chef.
Salary ranges from £14 to £16 per hour, depending on experience.
