Role: Platform Engineer Location: Leeds 1x a week Contract Length: 6 months Rate: £700 - £750 Inside IR35 Fruition Group are working with a leading organisation undergoing a large-scale cloud and data platform transformation. They're looking for a Platform Engineer with strong experience across AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and modern data tooling to support the build and optimisation of cloud-native infrastructure and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible Maintain and evolve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tools) Work closely with data engineers to support scalable, secure data platforms in AWS Support and optimise Databricks workspaces and integration with Spark workloads Ensure platforms are secure, resilient, and highly automated Monitor and troubleshoot performance across cloud and data workloads Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Engineer Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and infrastructure as code (Terraform) Configuration management with Ansible CI/CD delivery using Jenkins (or GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.) Commercial experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern data platforms Solid scripting experience (e.g. Bash, Python) Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and automation best practices We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
