Job Overview
We are looking for a fully experienced, qualified and caring professional to support a young man who uses a wheelchair. The role focuses on ensuring a high standard of physical, social, and intellectual care.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, assist with mobility and wheelchair transfers.
* Administer medications as prescribed.
* Maintain hygiene and daily care routines.
* Plan and facilitate social activities, craft work, cooking and other pre‑planned activities suitable for the individual’s disability.
* Perform light domestic duties and manage household lights.
* Maintain awareness of health and safety standards.
* Offer overnight wake‑over support once a month.
* Drive an adapted people carrier when required.
Qualifications
* Fully experienced and qualified caregiver.
* Experience working with wheelchair users and other disabilities.
* Prior experience administering medications.
* Experience with sleep/wake‑over duties.
* Valid driving licence and experience driving an adapted people carrier.

Work Details
* Hours: 3 full days per week, including a fortnightly weekend day.
* Monthly paid overnight wake‑over at hourly rate.
* Job types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Contract, Permanent.
