HGV Class 1 and HGV class 2 Drivers - new passes accepted
Turbo Driving are looking for HGV Class 1 and HGV class 2 Night Drivers to join a growing transport and logistics team.
Assessment followed by Induction (paid) before commencement of shifts for the HGV Class 1 driver and HGV and class 2 drivers then once passed you will be given an Immediate start.
HGV Class 1 driving Experience needed: this client will take new passes
HGV class 2 driving experience needed: this client will take new passes
Various start times available to suit your needs
All shift patterns considered - 4 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, 5 shifts, 2 shifts, ad hoc and weekend only all available with this contract
Rates:
HGV class 1 Night shifts: 23.00pm start times £16.06 per hour
HGV class 2 night Shifts: 23.00pm start times £14.38 per hour
If starting after 22.00pm you will be on a fixed night rate.
Average 10-12 hours a day
50 hour working week average or ad hoc if you need that
Full time/part time and any shift pattern that you can work will be considered.
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:
Trunk/Trailer swap with goods across regional/national routes
No interaction with the load
Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app
Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
As an HGV class 2 driver, you will:
Loading and unloading of class 2 vehicle
use of pump truck
delivering to LDU's (local delivery units)
3-5 drops per shift
About you:
As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will have:
A valid UK Category C driving licence
Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
A professional and customer-focused approach

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will have:
A valid UK Category C+E driving license
Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
A professional and customer-focused approach
