This reputable engineering and technology company covers multiple business sectors. Their Laundry division is dedicated to providing machinery, installation, and support services to industrial laundry customers.
Due to significant expansion over the past 12 months, the employer is looking for a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will generate sales and opportunities in the following areas:
* Innovative range of machinery, logistics, and laundry process systems.
* M&E division, providing technical services and infrastructure projects to the laundry industry.
* UK-wide laundry support and spare parts division, supporting their own and other brands.
Industrial laundry is essential to the NHS, Food, and Pharmaceutical companies, as well as large national and multinational groups. The offerings include AI and Robotics, Automation, Sustainability solutions, and critical support to businesses.
Key requirements of the successful Business Development Manager will include:
* Developing customer relationships and selling the value of the company's broad range of services.
* Developing a plan to raise the profile of the business within major groups.
* Being motivated and tenacious enough to prospect new customers and opportunities.
* Using sales techniques to develop strategies and counter objections to secure revenue and meet profitability targets.
* Being located between the M6 and M4 Corridor, South East, or Home Counties.
