Why are we recruiting?
This role focuses on the principle components used in the processing of financial transactions.
You will be supporting PayPoint’s core applications used in the process of completing successful financial transactions. You will also be involved in the support and testing life cycle of ATM’s.
You will assist in ensuring the maintenance of PCI DSS and LINK compliance standards.
What will you be doing?
* Manage, plan, test and document the projects related to ATMs, Driving hosts (ATM software releases, LinkLis5, etc).
* Investigate and resolve problems and Incidents.
* Assist in LINK audits and accreditations support, ensuring the ATM estate is compliant.
* Maintain production and test systems, including corporate transaction switch – Postilion.
* Implement the required telemetry to monitor the reliable running of the transaction systems and host driving software as part of BAU activity.
* Plan and execute functional and non-functional tests.
* Create Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scripts and user acceptance criteria.
* Produce the installation instructions to accompany software releases for use by operational staff and implementing to production.
* Support the 1 st Line support teams in all technical areas.
* Be part of an out of hour on call function.
What would we like from you?
* Working experience of MS Office applications,
* Familiarity with test methodologies and software packages,
* Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team and take ownership of issues through to successful resolution in a timely and professional manner,
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to use data to identify root cause,
* Capable of analysing data and presenting results to support management decision making,
* Collaboration with IT and business team leads.
It would be great if you already have…
* Experience working with ATM or transaction switches (Postilion preferred),
* Awareness of the following standards:
o PCI DSS and PA DSS Standard
o ISO 8583 message standard
o LINK compliance standard
o ITIL V3/V4
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems and SQL databases,
* Knowledge of TCP/IP and networks,
* Ability to read and comprehend Java code.
