IT Project Manager
£42,000 + 10% Bonus + Company Car
Home-based | UK travel required
We are recruiting for an IT Project Manager to oversee the delivery of technology and infrastructure projects within the care and assisted living sector. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to customer sites and offices across the UK.
As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from pre-sales through to implementation and handover. The role focuses on delivering technically complex projects to agreed scope, quality, timescale and budget, ensuring customer expectations are met throughout.
Projects are delivered using PRINCE2 methodology, requiring strong planning, stakeholder engagement and risk management skills.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will:
* Manage the full project lifecycle from initial planning through to delivery and project handover
* Create and manage detailed project plans, milestones and dependencies
* Coordinate internal resources and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
* Manage project risks, issues and change control processes
* Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams throughout delivery
* Track project progress and manage variances against project plans
* Ensure governance, documentation and reporting standards are maintained
* Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks and delivery timelines
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience delivering projects in a technical or ICT environment.
Key requirements include:
* Experience delivering projects using PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies
* Proven track record managing projects in complex or technical environments
* Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing project budgets, risks and change control
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
Desirable experience includes:
* PRINCE2 Practitioner, APMP or similar qualification
* Experience delivering ICT or technology projects
* Experience working with public sector organisations
