Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Manual Handling Location: Suffolk Pay Rate: £35 per hour Job Description: Are you a skilled Occupational Therapist with strong manual handling expertise? If so, join our client's motivated team in Lowestoft, delivering safe and effective care across Adult Social Care. Key Responsibilities: Provide safe and timely front-line OT services across the directorate Support triage and reduce duplication between health and social care to cut OT waiting lists Advise and support external care providers on correct moving and handling practices Review care packages to ensure best value and optimal use of equipment Review double-handed care packages and promote single-handed care where appropriate Offer mutual aid to other OT areas as needed Complete OT assessments and reviews efficiently and safely Requirements: Location: Must be local to Lowestoft or able to commute daily Experience: Local authority experience preferred, but NHS backgrounds welcome Grade: Band 6 or equivalent Has strong manual handling and clinical reasoning skills Is confident working independently and collaboratively Wants to make a real difference in service delivery and outcomes Know someone perfect for this role?
